Fingal Chamber is a long time supporter of DCU's Access programme, Ireland’s largest and very first university-based Access Programme, set up in 1989. DCU now has a strong tradition of creating equality of access to third-level education for students from groups currently under-represented in higher education.

View their impact report and watch the video below, where final year Bachelor of Education student Chloe Fowler describes how DCU’s Access Programme enabled her to pursue her dream to become a teacher.

Chloe is one of 1,158 students currently supported by DCU’s Access Programme in the 2019/20 academic year. The programme makes education attainable to young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and provides students with a range of personal, financial and academic supports to thrive in their studies at DCU.
