Swords fleet management and car leasing firm Haines Fleet has been named Independent Fleet Solutions Company Of The Year by the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
Like many other businesses around the country, Haines Fleet has experienced challenging months. The company has however enjoyed the experience of providing flexibility to its many clients thus adding greatly to relationships. Managing Director Eugene Haines says the company has enjoyed a “significant uplift in business”, in running with the inward flow of goodwill opportunities.
The company enjoys the availability of 29 different quality marques in their fleet mix which provides real choice to their customers. Haines Fleet has been recognised by The All-Ireland Business Foundation for its outstanding contribution to quality & standards in the fleet solutions sector.
Business All-Star Accreditation is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Reacting to the announcement Haines Fleet Managing Director Eugene Haines said:
“ I am delighted to be accredited with this All-Star recognition. This accreditation seats very well with our 100% credit rating, which we have retained through thick and thin times.
It is refreshing to observe that, like 2010, our many valued clients supported us moving through and onwards when faced with adversity. In recent weeks, we have been experiencing considerable uplift in business activity, and this accreditation is far more than the icing on the cake.
There is a real sense of achievement outside the norm, and we look forward to using this thermal of success to fuel our enthusiasm into celebration mode with our very own star-spangled banner.”
Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board Kieran Ring said in support of the announcement:
“This Accreditation is in recognition of the company’s outstanding contribution to quality & standards in the fleet solutions sector. Haines specialise in the management of small to medium-sized fleets throughout Ireland for both domestic and international businesses.”
“Currently the company has 29 different quality marques in their fleet mix which provides real choice to its customers. Furthermore, we wish to recognise Haines Fleet Management’s conduct in the areas of trust, commitment, performance & customer-centricity. Haines Fleet Management is hereby included in the AIBF Register of Irish Business Excellence.”
Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation Kapil Khanna said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 500 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.
He said: “We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
The All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) is an autonomous national accreditation body tasked with enterprise development and the promotion of Best-in-Class in Irish business. The Foundation actively engages and supports its network through peer-dialogue, collaboration, mentoring and enterprise development activities. Companies are qualified for accreditation by completing an enterprise audit and are identified by their use of the AIBF’s Business All-Star Marque.
