• Invitation to Fingal Business Community to rally to support the local community

Fingal County Council is playing its part to fight COVID-19 and is calling on businesses in Fingal to rally in support of the local community.

As part of its efforts to respond to the current pandemic Fingal County Council has donated 30,000 pieces of PPE to Beaumont Hospital to support the efforts of healthcare workers at the frontline and help doctors, nurses and care staff tend to patients. The Council has also donated raw materials and equipment to support PPE production to create PPE face shields for frontline workers.

The Council’s Economic Enterprise & Tourism Development Department and Fingal Dublin Chamber, in a joint initiative and as part of Fingal County Council’s Community Response Forum, are inviting the business community in the Fingal area to donate any new and unused PPE that you have on hand that might be put to use in response efforts to the COVID-19 pandemic.

PPE Donations will assist the volunteers and Council staff working on the frontline for the Community Response Forum in delivering essential services to vulnerable people in Fingal.
