• Fingal Chamber raises €5,500 for the Down Syndrome Centre Swords

Fingal Chamber was pleased to present the Down Syndrome Centre Swords with €5,500 which was raised by members and attendees at the Fingal Business Awards 2022 hosted in November.

The Chamber organised a Charity Raffle as part of the Gala Awards Presentation Evening and an array of prizes were generously donated by member businesses to support the fundraiser.

The Down Syndrome Centre was the chosen charity partner for 2022. Their newly opened branch in Swords is a state-of-the-art custom-designed Centre, that provides services & support to children & their families with Down Syndrome.

The Charity Raffle raised close to €5,000 and Fingal Chamber itself made an additional donation.

Fingal Chamber Chief Executive, Anthony Cooney on presenting the funds raised to Triona Cussen of The Down Syndrome Centre said “The last few years have been challenging for businesses and communities everywhere, however, our support of local services like the Down Syndrome Centre who are there for the members of our community is vital. Fingal Chamber has worked to highlight and support a number of local charities over the last few years, and we are delighted to continue this especially when this support is most needed. We are extremely grateful to our members who supplied great prizes and to those who gave generously at the event.”
