    Here are some tips on how to use your time effectively to get the most out of your membership:

    1. Activate your Profile on the Member Information Centre (MIC)

    Update/edit your profile on our Member Information Centre (MIC) to ensure your directory listing is current, correct and complete. We also recommend that you update your staff, adding new reps, and deactivating those who no longer work in the business so that the right contacts receive important updates from the Chamber.


    2. Enquire about Training and Upskilling with the Fingal Chamber Skillnet

    Want more productive staff, improved retention rates, increased staff motivation, cost-effective training, a skilled workforce and a competitive and progressive workplace? We provide subsidised enterprise-led skills training courses further discounted for Chamber members which can save regular users a substantial amount in costs each year. Let us know your training requirements so we can address your skills needs.


    3. Have Your Say on Local and National Matters

    You can engage in matters that can impact your business through regular forums (e.g. The Local Area Business Forums) and consultations (see weekly 'Business Community Update' emails for the latest). If you need to influence policy contact the Chief Executive who leads our lobbying and advocacy support.


    4. Get Expert Advice on Trading Internationally

    We are a leading provider of export documentation services and can issue and certify Certificates of Origin (EU Certs & Arab-Irish Certs) and other certification services for companies. All Chamber members are entitled to a discount on the export documentation services, which can save regular exporters a substantial amount in fees and charges each year. For further information on export documentation; certification services; and the process guidelines, click here.


    5. Use the Members Promotional Opportunities

    Use the Member Information Centre (MIC) to share your news, special offers, job vacancies, or upcoming events with the business community. Member news appears on the website, in the weekly Business Community Update emails and is often promoted on the Chamber's social media channels.


    6. Apply to feature in the Member Spotlight

    Submit an application to be profiled on the Chamber website, in the weekly email digest, and across the Chamber's social media channels. Selected submissions may also appear in the Fingal Network Magazine and in regional print and digital media.


    7. Participate in the Member Information Center

    The Chamber has a member-only LinkedIn Group for you to engage in intelligent, opinionated discussions, demonstrate your expertise and services, and get the latest news and updates.


    8. Display Your Member Logo

    Gain credibility and display your member logo with pride at your business premises and use the digital version on your own website and email signature.


    9. Attend Chamber Events

    Each year, we host approx 30 events, many are free for members. Keep an eye on the events calendar and your email inbox for upcoming events and invites. Book in today and start connecting with fellow members.


    10. Network Proactively

    Mix and mingle at events to network and meet new business contacts, don’t forget to follow up.


    11. Co-host an Event

    Contact the Chamber about delivering a briefing, seminar, or workshop where you can invite influential industry faces and showcase your business.


    12. Celebrate Business Success

    Nominate and attend the annual Fingal Business Excellence & Corporate Social Responsibility Awards. There may also be some limited opportunities available to sponsor an Award.
