  • Fingal Connects, the region’s only business-to-business trade exhibition took place in the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport on Thursday, the 26th of May.

    The event was presented by Fingal Chamber and Fingal County Council to connect Fingal businesses for trade and collaboration.

    Attendees had an opportunity to meet local suppliers and see their products and services; compare several suppliers quickly; discover new technology, ideas and innovative companies; and network and learn from other businesses.

    Fingal Chamber President, John O'Donoghue opened the event which attracted business owners, company directors, entrepreneurs, managers, council officials, and people interested in growing a business. The Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, Damien English TD visited the exhibition and met with businesses.

    In addition to the 50 exhibitors, there were keynote speakers and workshops for attendees to hear from industry experts on critical topics such as funding sources and supports, cutting business costs, business efficiency, and people and skills.

    The Local Enterprise Office also offered free advice with walk-up appointments available for business clinics.

    The Mayor of Fingal, Cllr. Seána Ó Rodaigh and Fingal Chamber Chief Executive, Anthony Cooney later closed the event. The Chamber would like to thank sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and attendees for their support of this inaugural event.
